In line with the nature of the
equipment that is supplied by SRS Components Ltd,
the company operates in such a manner that is
consistent with the UK Government’s Climate Change
Programme and the requirements of the Kyoto
Protocol. To this end, the carbon footprint of the
business is minimised and the company is currently
pursuing means to off-set the remaining greenhouse
gas emissions. Furthermore the company’s trading
policy is to ensure that environmentally friendly
equipment is made available to clients whereby they
too can respond to the environmental challenges. The
products are designed to have the minimum adverse
effect on the environment throughout their entire
life cycle and SRS will promote the correct and
appropriate use of such equipment by means of
training and to minimise emissions and risks.
The SRS Components facility at Warwick is currently
being developed further to accommodate a test centre
whereby training schemes can be offered to
refrigeration contractors and end users alike who
wish to install secondary refrigerant systems.
