SRS Components Ltd distributes
equipment for environmentally friendly Secondary
Refrigerant Systems (SRS) and in addition to which
offers an engineering design service for the
installation of such Secondary Refrigerant Systems.
The equipment includes natural
refrigerant chillers from Frigadon AB, Sweden,
together with auxiliary products such as coils and
other heat exchangers from AIA, George Fischer ABS
piping and Hycool® secondary refrigerants. SRS
Components was set up in 2001 in Warwick, UK by two
Frigadon AB directors, Alan Colbourne and Per
Wallqvist.
In recognition of the
environmental credentials of their indirect cooling
systems, SRS achieved the runners-up nomination for
the ‘Environmental Cooling Industry Awards’ on
behalf of the Cooplands Bakery and Food Processing
project in Doncaster. This was a £333,000.00
contract based on the supply of an environmentally
friendly secondary installation using Frigadon R1270
chillers and Hycool® heat transfer fluids and AIA
coils together with the SRS engineering design for
this prestigious Doncaster bakery.
Current outstanding SRS orders in hand this year for
equipment and fluids from SRS customers include
Nestlé, Geest Prepared Foods, University of Dublin,
Brewery Design, Lonco Retail Services, Frigo
Mechanico (Costa Rica), Meadowhall Shopping Centre,
Butcombe Brewery, Warminster Maltings, Meadowhall
Shopping Centre, Crown Princess Caribbean Cruises
and Sigal Revivo (Israel)
